Action songs are a great activity for practising hand-eye coordination and learning to follow directions. In my option, a truly great action song will also include storytelling and imagination. You want your child’s eyes to light up with wonder as they create an entire world with their hands. Our favourite part in this nursery rhyme is the boat action. I’m sure your child will love popping their thumb up as they sing “Here is me!”
