Terms and Conditions

1. Business Hours
   Classes follow the Victorian school terms. We do not run classes during Victorian school holidays or on Victorian public holidays to ensure everyone gets a well-deserved break. Our timetable is continually evolving, and classes may change at short notice. Regrettably, Gumnut Music reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the enrolment quota. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
2. Duration of Classes
   Classes are 30 minutes each week and are scheduled back-to-back. At the conclusion of class, please clear the room promptly. Of course, our staff will be available to assist with any questions or queries you may have.
3. Booking and Enrolment
   Signing up for a class is easy! Just register online at https://gumnutmusic.com.au. We’ll confirm your enrolment by email. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us.
4. Advanced Payment Policy
   Full payment for the entire term is due before the first class. Your enrolment is for the entire duration of the term. Mid-term enrolments are billed for the remaining weeks of the term.
5. No Refunds Policy
   Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for missed classes. If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, a make-up class can be arranged. If not, the payment for the missed class will be retained. Due to our busy schedule, make-up classes are subject to availability.
6. Cancellation
   We are a family, and if we need to cancel a class due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll do our best to reschedule (see item No. 8: Make-up Classes). You will receive a make-up class credit. Due to our “No Refunds Policy,” we are unable to offer refunds for cancelled classes.
7. Termination of Classes
   If your child needs to stop lessons, please inform us. Once confirmed, any remaining paid lessons will be forfeited in accordance with our “No Refunds Policy.”
8. Make-up Classes
   We try to be flexible with make-up classes! We encourage you to find a suitable time from our weekly timetable for a make-up class. All make-up classes must be arranged and agreed upon by both the student/parent and Gumnut Music. We are working hard to expand our timetable to provide families with more options for make-up classes.
9. Late Arrivals
   If you’re running late, you are still welcome to join the class, but we cannot extend the time. Unfortunately, make-up classes are not available for lateness.
10. Care of Students
    Classes are intended to be experienced with a loving adult. Although we care for your child, we cannot provide individual care during class. While we strive to provide a safe and inclusive environment, Gumnut Music accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury sustained by the student or parent arising from participation in any activity connected with Gumnut Music.
11. Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events
    Please stay informed about important dates and events, such as re-enrolment and public holidays. We will do our best to keep you updated through class postings and emails. We recommend subscribing to our mailing list to ensure you receive all communications. Let us know immediately if your contact details change.
12. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
    By enrolling and/or attending class, you agree to abide by these Gumnut Music Terms and Conditions, along with the guidelines and restrictions set out by the Government, our venues, and Gumnut Music. These terms and conditions apply in all circumstances. Enrolment and/or attendance at Gumnut Music classes constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
