Traceable Rhythms

Our Traceable Rhythms are a valuable resource for young students who are keen learners excited by music notation but still developing their drawing and early handwriting skills. 

As preschoolers naturally begin to explore straight and circular lines, music notation is the perfect complement to this developing skill. Additionally, the opportunity to trace prepares children for later literacy learning. 

In a Kindergarten setting, they’d make a lovely addition to a music table or corner.

At home, they’d be a welcomed invitation to explore music notation.

Whatever your objective, these resources are an enriching complement to early years learning and musical play. Once they’ve been traced, students may colour in the ovals to complete their notes.
